Building blocks made of genuine stone! These stones are made of natural raw materials - quartz sand, chalk and linseed oil - and truly convey the real building feeling, which has already inspired many famous architects. In the 19th and 20th century the Anker Stone Building Sets achieved worldwide fame. After the shut down of the company in 1963 the daring step of reviving the manufacture was taken 30 years later in 1995. As one of the most traditional and remarkable toy, the Anker Stone Building Set has been produced by the Anker Steinbaukasten GmbH for about 10 years again. The blocks are manufactured in three colours to simulate terra cotta brick, natural sandstone and the blue slate of European roof tiles. This gives the finished structures a lifelike quality. Anchor Stones are hand-finished to a high degree of accuracy, making it possible to build very complex structures. The weight and texture of the blocks are sufficient to hold the building together. There is no need for glue nor other fixings.
Set #4a comes with 65 stone blocks, a booklet with different structures, all which can only be built with this set and set #4. Set comes in a wooden box with a sliding lid for storage.
When combined with set #4, you have all the stones from set #6.
